Story

Writer and series creator James Gunn appears in the opening titles with a laptop typing a script. . Featured in AniMat’s Wacky Cartoon Cast: Return of the (Hill) King (2023).
the animation is top notch
What an entry for the new regime at D.C. Studios. This first installment & introduction to the new D.C. Universe is promising and a welcome view. The story cares about the characters and their personas.

Speaking of the animation of the new "Tomorrow-verse" The animation seemed very cheap and plain. flat, no life in the animation style or stories. AU of great stories like: "Under the Red Hood", "Justice League:Dark" "Superman: Judgment Day" sets the standard for quality comic book animation. I collected all the animated movies from that era & I had no interest in the Tomorrow-verse due to laziness of writing & lazy animated art. But Creature Commandos is a return to form for quality animation.
making his upcoming projects highly anticipated
I care about the characters anymore & the story is interesting. The art style is fun & vivid & well drawn. James Gunn is kicking off this universe in the best way possible. The new Superman movie is definitely on my must see list. The show is only 2 episodes long but the anticipation & excitement is constant.
The connection to the characters is there
