While I appreciate the ambition behind it, it unfortunately and somewhat paradoxically distances you from the main character

Told solely from the subjective POV of the main character and a fellow intern he befriends at the school.

Some early scenes felt a bit contrived and forced with this technique, the dialogue never flowing naturally

Watching this at the Stockholm Film Festival without subtitles was a bit of a challenge, as it was very difficult to make out the dialogue in certain scenes.

You could get the gist of the events, but the details were lost on me

Despite my criticisms of the style choice, the story was still somewhat engaging, but overall it could have been even more so with a more traditional narrative.
